vending machine’s variety of products is probably the most important aspect that attracts clients. Consumers can buy almost anything, from the usual stuff like water, soda, sweets, and snacks, to some weird items like milk, cupcakes, eggs, caviar, or even gold. Yet, even these strange machines are too mainstream compared to Autobahn Motors‘ vending machine that dispenses cars. Luxury cars, to be more specific.

The company that sells exotic used cars recently opened an unusual showroom in Singapore. The particular thing about this car salon is that it’s based in a tall building. This showcase of luxury, used for displaying sport, modern, and classic automobiles, not only solves Singapore’s problem of lack of space, but it also reduces the amount of time spent by a customer when trying to purchase a car.

Nope, those aren’t toy cars.

The 15-story futuristic building that houses 60 luxurious cars has been labeled the “world’s largest luxury car vending machine,” as it highlights the company’s way of selling cars in a creative way, and within minutes. Customers can get a Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, Bentley, or any other luxury automobile they desire, as fast as possible, without losing precious time with an actual human shop assistant.

A car purchase can be made via a tablet placed on the building’s ground floor. On the device’s screen, buyers can check out which vehicle is the most suited for them, and then the app allows them to order their preferred automobile. Thanks to an advanced system of vehicle retrieval, the car is delivered to the new owner in less than 2 minutes. This way the company proves that buying a car can be easy and fun, at the same time (provided you have that kind of money laying around).

The general manager at Autobahn Motors, Gary Hong, said the fabulous size of the vending machine highlights a major issue faced by rapidly growing cities, limited space. He also added that the vending machine is an excellent opportunity for the company to stand out of its competitors. “We needed to meet our requirement of storing a lot of cars. At the same time, we wanted to be creative and innovative,” explained the manager.

Another dealer of used cars, Carvana, followed a similar tactics to sell its vehicles. In 2013, the company opened a vending machine that allows customers to pick up a car after they paid for it online on their website. Two years later, the Phoenix-based business proved that such car vending machines “are the new black,” when it opened a five-story glass tower that holds 20 luxury cars.
