A new hotel has awakened in the Japan’s vibrant capital, Tokyo. Its guests and visitors of a hub for corporate travellers can admire a new concept created by two highly regarded designers – Shun Kawakami & Koyuki Inagaki, from global branding agency artless. The name of the hotel, Risveglio, comes from Italian and means awakening. This theme combines various elements that support the whole brand identity creating a rare feeling of unity and the state of awakening.

Starting with a logo, the designers then created a whole alphabet. Unfinished letters of the typeface, called “Risveglio”, representing growth and unforeseen possibilities can be seen throughout the whole hotel – collaterals, signage and also on its distinct website.
