When shooting an advert, most agencies work with real actors or produce various characters that are then associated with a particular brand. A creative design studio from Seoul, South Korea decided to take a completely different approach. Superfiction decided they will pursue the concept of a “happy life” while trying to engage its audience’s eyes, ears, hands and even their hearts.

The company specializes in character branding, promotion design, making short films, and other various ways of collaborations through their unique team of unexpected animated non-super heroes: Scott & Nick, their dog Josh, muscular lumberjack Freddy and cheeky Birdy, and lastly Scott & Freddy’s weird friends.

Their most recent work includes a summer campaign for one of the largest conglomerates in South Korea, Hanwha. To be more precise, the work consists of a series of whimsical short films promoting one of Hanwha’s subsidiaries – Hanwha Life Insurance. Our non-heroes get mysteriously transported from their boring lives to more jolly times at the seaside.

As you can see, Superfiction’s dream team is capable of various tasks and their clients include LG (online promotion of G5 series), Hyundai (promotion design), or Muzik Eyewear (design of John-Lennon-styled glasses).
