Available on the Galaxy smartphones and watches, Samsung’s Pay service is a fun and secure way to make a payment. According to the brand, the app is accepted in more places than any of its counterparts. To show users how easy this payment method is, Samsung Electronics France joined forces with creative agency Sid Lee Paris and launched three short videos, humorously underlining the benefits the app has.
From the grocery store to the coffee shop and to your favorite department store, Samsung Pay is there to help you safely make a transaction. It even helps you get out of some unpleasant situations, in unexpected ways. The first video takes place during Christmas Eve and our protagonist exchanges gifts with his mom. Only after he takes the present out of the box he realizes that it is not something suitable for his parent. Luckily, his mother has to put her glasses on to see better, which gives the man plenty of time to run fast to change the gift, while paying for it quickly and securely.
Next, Samsung presents two other scenarios, equally credible and which are untangled with the same dose of humor. Forgetting an anniversary or not dressing up for a costume party are situations that can happen to anyone. As in the case of the wrong Christmas gift, the main characters come out of these situations thanks to Samsung Pay, “one of the fastest gestures in the Galaxy,” conclude the videos. All’s well that ends well, right?
In fact, all of these situations reflect the ease and speed of Samsung Pay, showing that no matter what situation consumers are in, the app is a nice option to have at hand. Also, the videos were executed to include fast-paced edits so that the service’s benefits and speed are perfectly captured.
“Samsung is first and foremost a product company, but we also have a lot of wonderful services that we want to shine the spotlight on. Sid Lee perfectly encapsulated Samsung Pay’s benefits and created 3 little films that engage consumers in what is a very active season for us,” said Laurent Moquet, IM-B2B Marketing Director in France.
The contactless card payment method or the use of a payment app is one of the measures that people have adopted to protect themselves in times of the pandemic. Although there is no evidence that the virus is transmitted by cash or card, retailers put health and safety first. Therefore, we now see an acceleration of the use of such technologies.
The Samsung service is one of these technologies which besides being simple, secure, and efficient it even rewards you. Loyal consumers will receive points with every payment made with its service, which can be converted into discounts, vouchers, or gift cards.
